Dutch Oil & Gas Delegation visits the UAE
ADNOC Group among other UAE companies successfully participated in Gastech in Amsterdam two months ago. Relationships between the UAE and the Netherlands were further enhanced during an incoming mission from the Netherlands to the UAE on 10 - 12 May. This visit is part of Dutch Energy Solutions, a three year programme subsidised by the Dutch government and implemented by two of Holland’s major business associations, FME ( Dutch association of enterprises in the technological industrial sector) and IRO (Association of Dutch suppliers in the oil and gas industry). The objective of this three-year programme is to enhance meaningful relationships between the Dutch industry and oil & gas companies in the Gulf region. The Ambassador of the Netherlands, Gerard Michels, hosted a reception for the delegation on the first day of the mission. On the remaining subsequent days, Petrofac Emirates, ADNOC Group of Companies, Tebodin, and Fluor Abu Dhabi were visited by the fifteen delegate companies. Additionally, on May 11th, ADNOC Group hosted a full day of matchmaking and exploration of business opportunities between the two counterparts. Excellent en informative presentations were delivered by ADNOC, GASCO, ADMA-OPCO, ZADCO, and TAKREER representatives, which were then followed by individual Dutch delegate company presentations. This trade delegation consisted of fifteen companies specialised to service the oil & gas markets. The delegation was headed by Mr. Jan Kamminga, the chairman of the FME – CWM Association. This visit presented an outstanding potential for further strengthening the already excellent collaboration between major companies in Abu Dhabi and the Dutch companies active in the upstream oil and gas industry.
